Learn About Me

I am Dan Millet, owner of Think Different Design. I've been a graphic artist since 1996, and an oil painter since the age of 14. I started in graphic design at a company called Goeckel Machinery designing a 72 page catalog from scratch including the CAD drawings. I also worked as an ad designer for the Berlin Reporter, a weekly newspaper. As the paper decided to downsize my job was cut and I was asked to design The Outdoor Gazette (published monthly) which I still do to this day. The Gazette changed hands and I decided to start my own business, so here I am in the next phase of my career.

I also design a few other publications throughout the year. I enjoy being creative as you can see from my samples, and very proficient too. But this is not the only business I do. I also started a few others. First up is www.ipodfixit.com which started as a hobby and is now a very busy business and only growing as Apple Inc. grows. Next is Dependable Taxi which I actually bought and improved upon, then this year (2010) I started www.trailangelshikerservices.com as I saw a need and made it a profitable business and finally in my spare time I run the local Apple user group www.wmaug.com.
